Built by hand.
Built with purpose.

I have been building furniture and wooden things for 40 years. I've filled my children's homes with pieces — dining tables, bookcases, armoires, desks, and everything in between. I've even built a canoe and a rowing skiff along the way.

It's been the perfect hobby — the perfect offset to a management consulting career. Where consulting is about ideas and strategy, woodworking is about your hands, the material, and making something permanent. Every piece starts with a conversation about what someone needs, and ends with something that will outlast both of us.

I work out of my shop in Barneveld, WI, working in domestic hardwoods: walnut, cherry, maple, hickory, and more. I take on a limited number of commissions — reach out early if you have something in mind.

Principles, not trends.

01

Honest Materials

I use domestic hardwoods — walnut, cherry, white oak, maple — selected in person from trusted sawyers. No veneers, no shortcuts.

02

Traditional Joinery

Mortise and tenon, dovetails, wedged through-tenons. Joints designed to last centuries, not seasons.

03

One at a Time

Every piece is made by a single craftsman, start to finish. You know exactly whose hands built what lives in your home.

Where the work happens.
